PALM BEACH -- Applied Digital Solutions is finding "Digital Man" to be a popular draw.
The Palm Beach-based tech company has been
making the rounds on CNN, the Lifetime Channel, Tech TV
and soon will appear on CBS' Weekend Evening News. On
Friday morning, Keith Bolton, the company's chief
technology officer, sat down with Dr. Richard Seelig, a
New Jersey surgeon, for a chat with host Matt Lauer of
The Today Show.
"We're thrilled," Bolton
said after his Today appearance. "Our schedule is
filling up quickly. We are getting calls every day."
Seelig has gained a measure of public
attention in recent days after news broke that he has
implanted two of Applied Digital's tiny VeriChips in his
forearm and hip. The company is marketing the product to
the medical community to be used in conjunction with
pacemakers and other devices.

hold up to 60 words of identification information, which
a hospital can use if the patient is unable to
